Tom comes from a farm & ranch background, growing up in Missouri but living his adult life in Texas. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from Central Missouri State University and was involved in full-time farming and ranching until 2009 when he took a position as Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator with Select Energy Service and relocated to Cleburne in 2010.
Tom has been married to his wife Cindy for 23 years and their sons; Travis and Tucker attend Cleburne High School and are officers of the Cleburne High School FFA Chapter, their son Tanner is at Smith Middle School. Tom and his family are active in Johnson County 4-H where Tom serves as a Livestock Mentor. Tom serves as a member of the Johnson County Livestock & Agriculture Association. Tom and his family are active members of Field Street Baptist Church.
