Marshall Young Insurance Supports Wounded Warrior and Operation Blessing in Charity Raffle

Marshall Young Insurance and KCLE ESPN Radio will be holding the annual “Fan for Friends” Fan Drive on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, that will benefit Operation Blessing. Several summers ago, Matt Lee of Marshall Young Insurance and Ward Whites of KCLE ESPN radio were talking about the Texas heat. Ward mentioned to Matt about getting some businesses involved to do something for the community.

Operation Blessing was contacted to see if they could use fans and Gloria Jones was excited!  She stated that this is their biggest fan drive each year bringing in over 100 fans yearly for people in the local area who might not have air conditioning or need an extra fan to stay cool. Matt enlisted the help of Rodney & Paula Rowlett of Rowlett Hardware to join the cause by ordering all of the fans at cost.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a new fan by the offices of Marshall Young Insurance or drop it by Rowlett Hardware. This year KCLE will be broadcasting their entire morning show from the offices of Marshall Young Insurance. Retired Marine Gunny Tom Stephens will be a special guest representing the Marine Corps Leatherneck Club of North Texas. The Leatherneck Club is holding a raffle to win an M1-A1/M14 Rifle.

The raffle will benefit the Wounded Warrior program. This program provides transportation for wounded veterans to their hospital appointments. Gunny Stephens will have the rifle on display in the lobby of Marshall Young Insurance and those interested can purchase a ticket for $20.  This will be a great opportunity to help two worthwhile organizations. Marshall Young Insurance is located at 401 N. Ridgeway Drive in Cleburne.
